How it all started for us.
This journey began in 2017 with a college assignment on the topic of a travel company. What started as a simple academic exercise planted a seed in the co-founder’s mind—a dream of creating a travel company that could one day become a reality. For someone from a humble background, this was the wildest dream imaginable, but it stayed with him. After graduation, faced with the uncertainty of life.
He embarked on a solo trip to Rishikesh to relieve stress. Little did he know, that trip would change his life. The waterfalls, the sacred Ganges, and historic sites like the Beatles Ashram left an indelible mark. The experience was like falling in love for the first time. The trip not only recharged his soul but also deepened his connection with nature and himself. Rishikesh is often called the gateway drug to travel addiction, and for our founder, it truly was.
Following that life-changing journey, he entered the corporate world, but every month or two, he would escape to nature to recharge his spirit. Each adventure brought him a sense of peace, belonging, and renewal. Over five years of travel, he realized these journeys were more than just escapes—they were shaping him into a better person. He felt more joyful, peaceful, present, and connected. For him, travel had become the ultimate therapy.
As his love for travel and nature deepened, he wanted others to experience the same profound impact. However, he noticed that many people only visited popular tourist spots, missing out on the authentic experiences that true exploration offers. He envisioned a company that would encourage people to travel like real explorers, seeking genuine, meaningful experiences. And so, Peak Adventures was born.
